Urological surgery in children in case of testicular abnormalities, phimosis, and malformation of the ureter und the renal pelvis is performed in collaboration with the specialist children gastroenterologist, diabetologist DDG, Dr med Dirk Bretschneider and the specialist and pediatric surgery, Dr. Bernd Heinzmann. During the treatment there is the possibility of an entry to the hospital of mother or father together with the child. The patients' first consultation for the uniquely elective (planned) surgical procedures happens at the outpatient department of our clinic. An emergency entry to our clinic is not possible! The care and treatment of urological patients is provided by two doctors specialized in urology and the ward staff of the completely new and modern styled Station 1 (Ward 1) around the clock. 01.10.2009 |
